Penny Wakefield Woodland - LITTER BINS

The Parish Council is aware that the bins on the woodland are once again overflowing. This is outside of the council's control, however the relevant people have been notified and urged to ensure the bins are emptied asap.

Diversion route for closure of West Lane, B585 for 6 weeks in July/August 2018.

HGV's are not permitted to use Ellistown as a diversion whilst the road is closed. Please look at the attached diversion map.

Bins at Penny Wakefield Woodland

The Parish Council is not responsible for the bins on the new Penny Wakefield Woodland next to Amazon. However, we are aware that they are overflowing and in desparate need of emptying. Vandalism & Antisocial Behaviour

Unfortunately Ellistown has seen an increase in vandalism and Antisocial Behaviour (ASB) over the Easter break. The incidents have been reported to Leicestershire Police and NWLDC. The Parish Council is aware that the Post Office service at Londis stores is currently suspended, however, as a Parish Council we do not have any more information than that which is in the public domain and will have no say in any decisions taken by Post Office Ltd.

Proposed Solar Installation - Community Event

Lightsource bp are proposing a new solar farm at land North of Pretoria Road, Ibstock. If you would like to know more info please see attached document.
