Huge thanks to our community litter pick volunteers for their efforts last Saturday morning!
They're gradually working their way around Ellistown and will soon be moving on to Battleflat - if we have any Battleflat residents who can spare an hour or two then keep an eye out for the next date in October TBC.

The Clerk has been notified that on 16 July 2019 North West Leicestershire District Council 'made' (adopted) the Neighbourhood Plan. It should now be used to help determine planning applications within the Ellistown and Battleflat area.

The Parish Council are pleased to announce the results of the referendum as follows:
YES - 239
NO - 35
TURNOUT - 274 - 13%
We await further information from NWLDC in the coming days and their confirmation that the Plan is to be 'Made'.

If you come across an issue with anything on footpaths, pavements, public roads or street lighting, overgrown hedges and trees on to public highways then please do report it to Leicestershire County Council Highways.
They have a really quick and easy form online to report any highways issues, here's the link:
